Talked to Andy's partner today.

Today's mail brought a card from termite with a great color photo of Andy on the front (the one from his memorial service program) and a nice note. Sorry all, no scanner here, so I cannot share it.

He sounded good. On Thursday, he is heading to the Deep South to visit his mother. Next month, friends are taking him to Mexico for a vacation. Ballot is getting big and is great company to him. The friend who bred the dog will take care of him during termite's absence, so Ballot will be with family.

Termite has some good prospects on the job front and was working in the yard. He has bad times...as did I today when I opened the envelope and saw the photo, note and program. But, Andy would want us to be happy and well. And to remember him, the great work he did and never forget him.

5. thanks great aunts...i spoke to termite last night..,

he had a very hard time writing these notes..and he has some bad days its has been very difficult for him..i try to talk to him as much as possible..its good he is going to his family as the house is full of Andy..i keep telling him to leave it until he can deal with it..but now is not the time..its great he will be going to mexico..he needs that...
I keep telling him its good to cry and to go through these emotions ..its what mourning is..
i fall apart after i talk to him..but i try to stay together while talking to him...i try to make him laugh!

its going to take him some time to get on with life..but time is a healer..
I also talked to Andys mom last night..she is such a sweet heart..a very strong woman..incredibly so..and sharp as a tack!
She has my love ..and my heart!

She and termite need our prayers for their healing..they are so special..and special to my heart.
and i miss my dear dear Andy...I still can not believe he is with the angels..

i just can not believe he is no longer here on earth...i can not believe that i can not talk to him 10 times a day...

Thanks for the update - hope you're feeling better. I miss seeing Andy's posts here. I went to my buddy list (which I hadn't visited in a long while) to write someone and there was his name. I literally gasped. It just hits sometimes, you know?
