Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 10:11 PM by Melodybe
At the moment my hubby and I are watching Lord of the Rings, it's been a while, maybe almost a year since we watched all three, but here we are watching and feeling invigorated.

Viggo, Aragorn himself, is down in Crawford. That certainly makes me smile.

And then that other set of the greastest movies ever, Star Wars, where the creator of that whole world is with us.

With such wonderful stories of underdogs changing the their world's how can we not be inspired to change our own?

1. You're right...absolutely!
Besides, who could ever make great movies about incredibly wealthy and powerful men growing more wealthy and powerful by plundering the poor and helpless? History will NOT deal kindly with George W. ** and his so-called administration. Not kindly at all. Come to think of it, almost 100% of really brilliant, talented people are leftists. You only have to look at the membership of Democratic Underground for proof of that.

3. Well Viggo did not actually create LOTR, but...
JRR Tolkein, the author of the books was actually an anarchist so I think it is safe to say that he would be very anti-Bush if he were alive today.

6. I actually ment Peter Jackson, since I knew he was a leftie
but finding out that Tolkien was an anarchist, fits too.
