Perhaps it is a sign that the times are a-changing and the press is starting to bow to the pressure. I'm sure it has shaken up the MSM that Bush's poll numbers are down despite the pass they've been giving him adn the administration. It was because of the people who make up DU that the pressure has been so effective. The echo machine does work and we are a large part of it.

I read about so many things on DU first. It's my number one news site. I've gotten a reputation among some of my friends of being the person who always knows what's going on. I tell them to log on to DU because that's where I get my information. For some reason they don't get DU so I get to be the conduit.

Anyway, for the past few months I've been sending information I find on DU to a group of my family and friends. Whenever I've asked them to vote in a poll or send an e-mail they have responded. I know others are doing the same thing, not to mention all the regular DU'ers that vote and send their own messages. All I'm saying is thank you DU. Whether it is voting in a poll or sharing an article from a blog or newspaper, we are having an effect on the MSM and I'm proud to be part of it.
