bush 'volunteered' for the TANG, and he felt no
need to fulfill that obligation. He did so to get out of actually going to where the fighting was, while at the same time, supporting the VietNam war. If I have heard one time that Casey Sheehan volunteered, along with the rest of the troops currently in Iraq, I have heard it a thousand times. And quite frankly, I am sick of hearing it! It means nothing to me, save those who are saying it, are making excuses for the crawford coward who sent/sends these 'volunteers' to their deaths. These morans who are touting this "they volunteered" crap, are like a dog with a bone, and quite frankly, it's trite.

1. Very few signed up thinking they'd end up in this crap...
It's not like you say to yourself, "No matter where he sends me, I'll go, and I'll like it.

War mongers fail to recognize that.

2. You're right, it is trite.
It's always the ones that wouldn't dream of going--but are quick to remind the rest of us that the ones that did go volunteered to do so.

I also think it's rich that these are same people that tell us that minorities and the less than wealthy are 'better off' joining up, because what else could they do to be productive citizens?

3. Casey Sheehan volunteered before we had...
a maniac in the White House. I never worried about my sons' futures until Bush stole his first election.

4. I'm sick of that meme, too
It's like some one act play that's playing on every station near you. And it's all weak. If this is all they have, they'll be gagging on their own bile soon.
