Andrea Mitchell tries to defend the crazy man in the White House.

Andrea Mitchell is covering for Tim Russert this morning. E.J. Dionne is the (Washington Post columnist) liberal, and I don't know the name of the designated wingnut.

Her questions have all been tilted toward Junior, Republicans in general, and the right wing. Many of her comments on Dionne's comments have been to counter his statements about Junior, while her questions and comments in response to the wingnut have been cream puffs.

I, for one, believe that the best use for Andrea Mitchell would be to use her as a blunt instrument to bludgeon her husband, Alan Greenspan.

She's a credible, respected journalist and not a lunatic Ann Coulter type. And that makes her more dangerous than the Coulters of the world. When you have credibility, and use it in defense of the indefensible, you are, by any sane definition of a free people, a traitor to democracy.

I wonder how she sleeps at night.

how to explain to AMericans and women in the service that the new COnstitution doesn't provide for equal rights for women? How to explain that women are fighting and dying for a nation that doesn't view them as equal citizens?

I watched the analysis with EJ and the conservative guy and it was pretty balanced with Dumbya getting the short end of the stick even with tough devils advocate questions being asked by Andrea. I think she helps the cause with the doubters - most people aren't as convinced as we are and they want those "devils advocate" questions asked. I think the Dems ended up looking pretty good in the end if you ask me - JMHO of course...
