4. So last weekend I go into this bookstore

I love books and I love to read.

It's a secondhand bookstore, too.

I am new to the area, so what do I know?

Anyway, after I start looking around, I notice that there seems to be just certain kinds of books. Books like how Franken is screwing up America. Books by Hannity and O'Reilly. LOTS of books in that vein.

Nothing on the other side. Hmmmm.

I ask the young man behind the counter how much an old and damaged Ann Rule book is. EIGHT BUCKS.

So now I know what I'm dealing with. Only Republicans and conservatives think their secondhand junk is worth a small fortune. I say this as someone who has spent a lot of time at garage sales in liberal and conservative neighborhoods.

Won't be going back to that store.
