Cindy Sheehan's husband

I saw a thread below with a lot of exclamation points and question marks regarding Cindy's husband and divorce, etc. With all the goop about the 'family' not supporting her, I thought I'd share this.

Last June I was in Berkeley, the first part of a three-day rip across California. At this event I met Cindy Sheehan's husband. He was a very nice, soft-spoken man who went on and on about how he supported Cindy in everything she is doing regarding Casey and the war.

So there's that. When I asked Cindy about the 'family' who wrote the letter while in Crawford, she shrugged. Her husband, she said, was planning to write a release to refute them.

Yea, so there's that.

her 3 other children fully supported her and I do not doubt that for one minute.

If they are separated/divorcing, I am sorry for them, but it is in no way relevant to Cindy's vigil.

because I was afraid that it was not true and another smear against a brave woman whom I believe to be a hero.

Whatever the case, thanks for the info. Whatever their troubles, our love and support and constant prayers go out to the Sheehans (even those who don't agree) and to all families everywhere who've lost loved ones to this senseless war. Losing someone is a tragedy, but to lose them to a lie is unjustifiable!

in hte world we live in, we seem to think all this stuff is part of the picture, it is not. whether father supports cindy or not doesnt matter. cindy is speaking a truth, she has lost a son,.......those are the only relevent issues. her words are the same words many of us speak, we are just not heard. she is being heard

Should you wish to see the latest, you need go no further than the one whose "Report" is nearly always the leading route through which the RW starts their smears. (hint..more out of context comments by Sheehan that they want to suggest is anti-semetic, among other crap)

I'm not about to link to this slimeball, but some should probably check it out to forewarn our Crawford community.
