So Lance is going scooter riding next week at the ranch....
Per "This Week" interview with whoremouse network "Stephy" the intense.

Sorry gang, anyone who is that into being pals with both Kerry and Chimp, has his priorties just plain fucked up.

By the way Lance, have a sit with Cindy maybe? Oh, straddle that bike seat Lance like the fence you sit on now.

He's an athelete, a trophy actress/girlfriend collector, but after that completely full of himself interview...no hero and borderline assclown.

6. Same here. No TV.
Presume from the posts that Lance is another Wheaties Box athlete who doesn't dare
question the source of his money...I mean doesn't question authority. Don't get me wrong, as an athlete winning the Tour de Lance 350 times or whatever I am in shock and awe in the presence of his accomplishment. If he sucks up to * though, well Lance, athlete extraodinaire, 'on your bike.'

I have had it with dealing with outsourced help everytime I have to contact them.. AND it's really crappy outsourced help. I will also tell Dell why I am paying off and closing my account.

I admire Lance for his athletic achievement but how can he be friends with the giggling murderer?

I'm going to be in Crawford when Lance is there. Wonder if he will take a spin by Camp Casey.

Like all these sports teams that get invited to the White House after winning a championship, it doesn't mean you support the dumbass's policies.

That said, he should meet with Cindy, too.

but hadn't told codpiece yet. Said he might tell him when they go biking this week but that codpiece doesn't speak while pedaling and is "very competitive" .... Lance intends to win the race. He said the money for war should be used to fight cancer but clearly he is playing cute with party affiliation....

anger the man holding the purse strings would be a bad move for the cancer community.

He cannot afford to go to one side or the other and effectively represent people with cancer. Sure, I would love to see him put his pump through the spokes of bush's trike, but that would not serve the needs of those with cancer.

Remember, cancer doesn't ask if you are Republican or Democrat. Lance understands that, and it smart enough to keep his personal politics out of it.

Anyway, bush doesn't talk when he is riding. From what Lance says, once the warm up ends it is pedal to the metal.

I used to hate training with people like that. You got your long slow distance days, and you have speed work days. Macho assholes push at 100% all the time.

15. I watched the interview
Edited on Sun Aug-14-05 11:11 AM by dooner
Lance is anti-war, and has said so publicly including during this interview. He said he hasn't discussed it with Bush, but would if he was asked (which doesn't sound likely to ever happen).

He said that when Bush goes mountain biking, he's all business. Doesn't talk, just jumps on his bike and tears off. So, Lance is going riding with him on the ranch next Saturday.

This is fantastic news! Lance Armstron is going to Crawford. Are you kidding me? I do NOT believe he will drive past Cindy and not stop. He's a Texan, and a gentleman, and he does not support the war.

THIS SHOULD BE GOOD NEWS AND POSSIBLY OF HUGE IMPORTANCE.

16. Much ado about nothing..............
Lance Armstrong is a seven-time winner of the Tour de France, and arguably the most famous and accomplished athlete in the US today. Is it such a strange occurrence that presidents try to soak a little shine off these celebrities? No.

If we're going to indict Lance for visiting Bush, then we also have to apply the same scrutiny and derision to ALL the sports teams and figures that have visited the president after a major victory. AFAIK, all the WS and Super Bowl champs in recent memory have paid the Pres a visit. Are we going to hold them up to the same scrutiny?

Also, Lance and Cheryl essentially make zero political hay. What I think the real issue here is that folks want to fit their favorite celebs into their own political molds. And just because Lance is visiting Shrubby, and Cheryl's hocking Dell should take away from the fact that Lance has helped out the cause of fighting cancer like no other, and Cheryl has been a pretty outspoken lib.

30. Look, if Lance wasn't going to turn Repuke to run for office
Don't you think that he would have been painted as a traitor for going to France and competing in the Tour de France?

Take away some things: His Texasnithicity, his friendship with Bush - what do you have?

A guy who left his wife and infant twins to hook up with a trophy girlfriend in the entertainment industry.

A guy who, in the midst of the war, kept going over to FRANCE!

A guy who, apparently, has no job other than riding his bike around.

If he weren't likely to go repuke, his seventh win in the TDF would have been covered in the "boxscores" sections of the newspapers.

41. On that vein...
...if I were going to see the president I'd sure as heck go to Camp Casey. Probably last, after I had squeezed the chimp. Then I'd raise hell about the war and pledge thousands of dollars to the Peace cause. But that's just me.

After all, if you are going to do something about human suffering it seems defeating the cancer of war is a priority, eh?

35. Lance better let him win or there will be a huge temper tantrum.
CRAWFORD, Texas - Standing on the driveway outside his home, President Bush explains the rules for people who go mountain biking with him.

It will be a vigorous workout. It is not a race. And no one, the president says with a smile, is allowed to pass him.
