His horribly twisted agenda would be intact. By holding up the works continuously, he is digging the trench he's in even deeper every day. I think it might be better if Cindy never gets to see him, because by that point, the whole country will see what a prick he is. And that will be even obvious to those who still support this evil administration.

And think about this: the RRR will begin to face a paradox--which would Jesus support--a grieving mother, or a dickface who keeps insisting war is good, and keeps sending more of our young men and women over there to be killed, without any significant sacrifice of his own. If we could somehow play up this angle, perhaps the fanatical religious nuts in our country will finally see past their hypocritical mutterings, and get a clue.

If he met with Cindy a couple of weeks ago, it wouldn't have mattered what he said to her because nobody would have cared. By being so stubborn and childish, he has created a situation where Cindy has become a national hero and a symbol for the anti-war movement. The far RW may be attacking her, but the rest of the population can't help but notice her pain and "sane" people are asking themselves, "What if it were my kid?"

And yes--there are already many, several conservative columnists included, who are already pointing out this situation as being bad for PR for the white house. Now, all we can do is get some of those people involved who can see the facts as they present themselves and objectively see the fucked up morals of a bad president.
