Don't like the message? ATTACK THE MESSENGER!!!
These replies are in response to the Washington Post story which states that the US will have to finally look realisticallyl at what can be accomplished in Iraq:

To: lauriehelds

You don't even have to look hard to see the steam rising from this comPost.

One nice thing about being a lefist in the MSM, you don't have to let facts get in your way. If your side is taking it in the shorts, just punch out an article saying it isn't so.

We're kicking the terorist' asses, and the Post's dreams in the teeth every day.

Spin that you leftist bastard socialist shills.

To: lauriehelds

Oh fiddle faddle. Give the Washington Commie Post a baby rattle.

To: lauriehelds

Thanks for helping in the War on Terror, gutless liberal jackoffs. I imagine they're grinning ear to ear at their Walter Cronkite moment. Way to support the war effort, dicks. (Can you imagine them doing this during FDR's war?)

To: SIDENET
What if this is a "senior official" at The New York Times or Move On Org or some such, or maybe just the guy in charge of emptying the White House dumpster doing a "repeat after me" segment with a reporter (for extra cash, of course)?

Journalists don't reveal their sources so that they can envisage petty whiners (perhaps even their own boss) as secretaries of state.

And this gem of the day:

To: lauriehelds
While this could just be BS from the Compost as you say, I wonder if some of this could be the old Bush trick of lowering expectations, then blowing everyone away with spectacular success in the end?

1. Spectacular success?
Oh I get it. It says "spectacular success in the end". It's not the end yet.

2. Truly living in a alternate reality...
They must be missing the portions of their brains that allow them to perceive reality. I just kind of take it for granted.

5. FDR's war???!!! I was holding out hope that not all of them are insane
but I think that I've been totally convinced now.

I suppose in Freeperlunacyville FDR took over Austria, invaded Poland, etc., etc. and kicked off WWII. Wow, now I'm gonna start burning history books.

I just can't wrap my mind around these delusional, straight-jacket-thinking people. Thank GOD they are so few in number.

7. The increasing bombast......
in these Freeptards speech sounds an awful lot like rising desperation.

The "lowering expectations" comment indicates that subconciously they
know exactly what their President is all about!
