All those Crosses at Camp Casey

Someone went to the trouble to put a name on each one of them. . I wonder if the families of these fallen men and women would feel compelled to visit them, or inquire about getting flowers for them if they knew that they were there.

Could we possibly notify each family and ask? Maybe those families would want to visit these crosses themselves. . . just a thought

which is why I posed the question; if one father against Cindy could come to respect and even be moved at such a time, then so would others.

If my son died, and someone erected a memorial with his name on it, and this memorial was a significant part of the current events that are shaping the emotions of the country, then I would feel compelled to visit that memorial. And of course, once that happens, something changes in all of us. I cried reading that piece of information, the father in the semi who talked with Cindy. We so desperately need our humanity back and the only way we get that is by these small interactions of ordinary people on opposing sides.

Imagine if all the families came to Crawford. Imagine that.
