But listen close: if someone sees that Andy Sheehan's motivation for wanting his mother home isn't based on sexism, THEY'RE NOT FUCKING CONSERVATIVES. Because I see someone whose mother is in Texas while his father apparently has filed for divorce (if you want to trash the father, go ahead, the man looks like a certifiable douchebag to me) who is probablys still struggling with the fact his brother was killed in a war that shouldn't have started, but he bravely volunteered for, I get accused, STUPIDLY, of being some paid freeper (who's managed to post 3200 times, amazing).

This isn't a "support Sheehan you're a liberal, say anything other than 100% support you're a freeper or 'from over there'." I even said in my fucking reply she doesn't have to go home, but was merely looking at what her son's motivation was. God damn, some people need to take a step back.

and honestly to those that have died , there is nothing that can but done right now but pray that they are resting in peace . They died in an injust war . But there are still soldiers over there in this unjust war and the point is not only to bring them home - but to make sure that they are taken care of when they come home . I don't think people truly realize the steps that have to be taken for soldiers to readjust to everyday life once they come home from the battle field . Bushie and Rummy should be forced to give these guys and girls the proper help if any is needed once they come home instead of what happen to the soldiers that came home from the Vietnam War . I read in the Time article, Cindy and her husband were grieving in different ways. Couples often do grieve differently and grow apart after the loss of a child - even grown children. Their problems began when Pat and Cindy Sheehan found they did not grieve the same way, as is often the case for families that face such tragedy.

If Casey had not been killed in the illegal and immoral war, they would not be suffering so and Cindy would not be standing vigil at Camp Casey, waiting patiently to talk to the prezidip, the man that is responsible for Casey's death.

If the RWers are concerned for Cindy's family, they should encourage the weed-n-chief to talk to her so that she can return to her family.

And while they are at it, they should encourage the weed to pull out of Iraq so that other fathers, brothers, sisters and daughters can come home to their family. I bet plenty of soliders in Iraq could use the support of their family!.

Back home in California, her family is imploding under its grief. Sheehan lost her job at Napa County Health and Human Services because of all her absences, she says. Husband Pat, 52, couldn't bear having Casey's things at home and put most of them in storage. "We grieved in totally different ways," Cindy says. "He wanted to grieve by distracting himself.
