Who Is Paying Dick Morris to shrill for war against Iran?
What gives? Every night he's all over tv preaching that we should attack Iran.

I mean he's really selling it hard.

5. I mean he's really going at it
The first time I heard it I laughed and thought it would just go away. So far none of the cable news people are taking him up on the proposition. But he just keeps saying it. And the worst thing about it, he says Bush needs to do it so he can win. But then he goes into how dangerous Iran is so he can say its not political.

6. Dick Morris shrillling for war
Since Fox is the foot army for WHite house it is hard to tell--but an educated guess will say the NeoCons.

May I remind you:: Go back in time for a moment. the Afghanistan war was over and there was a lull. GWB" ratings were starting to drop a bit. This is truth--if you do not remember. David Korn(sp?) The Nation was a guest ; sand so was Dick Morris. Out of the blue aMorris blurts out "the President now has to go to Iraq". David Korn was so flabergasted he almost comes out of his seat--yelling "That would be wag the dog!!!" Morris completlete non-plussed ccontiues to was on about war in Iraq. Following that episode guests were people like Wolfowitz Perle and Iraq became the worst enemy on the face of earth. The rest is history.

It is my observation that Morris can only get on TV(after his little toe episode) to bash and smear the Clintons and throw out trial balloons. Now he is doing the trial balloon--preparing the public for the next attack. We all know the reason we went to war in Iraq--change the dynamics in the Middle East Democratization of the Middle East after alll is a noble endeavor. Was not Iran listed as part of the Axis of evil. They have to keep these ideas out there so the public will not be entirely shocked when they happen. Cosantly talking about how dangerous Iran will they hope leave an imprint so it is easy to convice whentime comes.

7. Someone should collect all of his soundbites.
After 9/11 he claimed we should go after Iraq, Libya and Syria. It always seemed peculiar to me that if the U.S. were planning to go after these countries in a domino effect, it wouldn't be wise to broadcast the plans over the news. Because, then, the countries could bandy together a'gin you. So, in a nutshell, Morris is an alarmist and a jerk.

They have to be related. They got the nastiest lips in the business.

8. He picked the WRONG money horse
Think about how much money he would have made if he was still acting like he was a liberal? MILLIONS. Look at what Franken is making. If the guy would have had the forsight to recognize the eventual Bush collapse he would be a friggin hero.

Instead, he acted like he a conservative because he thought he could cash in. I'm glad that PHONY gets to suffer. I know Bill Clinton is getting a BIG laugh.

10. Come to think of it, he is pretty harsh on Bush's chances if Bush
doesn't do something dramatic. He argues with Bushies on his chances and that makes them angry.

But I think you're right. He's a whore and he made the wrong choice. Now he's trying to hedge some wiggle room. He's wiggling so he can jump ship if he needs to.
