out of office will be much better than just losing the election i believe because disgraced out like Nixon means he will not rise again and we want have to hear all the lying good things he did forever and ever by the Repugs and vindication will be so much sweeter too.
I know he will never resign but enough dirt could force him. I remember when Nixon took his stance not to resign either but in the end he had to- WATERGATE. I want him out so bad that loss of election would be good but him resigning in disgrace would be ever so SWEET!
Just needed to do some wishful thinking tonight. How about you?

unless a bunch of Republicans force him to - just like Nixon. The Republicans had much more honor back then. Tom DeLay will lock any Republican in a closet and throw away the key before he will let any of them call for the resignation of their annointed puppet.

3. These guys intend to brazen it out |

They won't give an inch. It will be up to Congress and/or the American people to force an independent investigation. THE WH knows exactly who leaked to the press. They just won't say.
Write you congressmen and senators. Demand an independent investigation (not one done by Asscroft).

But remember the Diebold thing. They've got a better fix on the elections, so if Bush can just stay in office, the touchscreen people will take care of the results.
