Dear Mr. Fiore:
I am sitting here staring of a picture of you and wondering what age your are? I know one thing I don't need to wonder about; is that your are of age to go to war. Why are you not in Service? You look like a strapping young fellow who loves his country and supports his President and yet you use a pen instead of a gun to support your country? Their is a name for men like you who push the war, yet fail to fight in it or sacrifice their own children in it.
Ah, there is the rub, is it not? To actually experience the fright from the moment one when your child gets his orders to ship out to Ft. Hood and 4 weeks later to Baghdad. Have you ever felt that fear sir? Do you even understand how scared you are and your child has not even left the country. Well let me walk you through it because that is the stage I am at right now. The worry like hell he will be hurt or killed over there. This is my only Son.
I am going to do you a favor so you can really understand the suffering of Cindy Sheehan. I am going to email you on the progress of my son as he enters this unholy war. This war which has sprouted many names is a farce. The War Powers Act specifies an imminent threat of attack, this law was overlooked.
So you just keep writing your bad stories about a suffering mother who only wanted to talk to the President, to get answers about this false war. It takes a special kind of soul to criticize a Mother in mourning. I will remember you and will write to you about my Son's experiences and my fright and fear. Maybe one day you can truly understand what it feels like to be a part of this war...
Sincerely;
Mom Of Soldier In Houston, Texas
