<snip>

"The President of the United States is out of control. How long can the ship of state continue to sail with a madman at the helm?"

Sorry if posted already before, thought it was a good read.

The same author, though:

This is the new one:
Capitol Hill Blue: Is Bush Out of Control?
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7218.shtml

And this is about a year old:
"Bush's Erratic Behavior Worries White House Aides"
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_4636.shtml

On edit: About the author's reliability, see this thread:

2. I personally think that bu$h is NOT calling the shots.
He just does what he is told to do.
Anyone else share this opinion?

5. I've thought that for a long time.
He's just supposed to keep it together enough for photo ops. Honestly, that's my opinion. Sometimes, I think they really wanted Jeb or someone else to head up their little coup, but they got stuck with barely functioning Dubya. In some ways, I think it helped them, by accident -- helped them with the "look, he's just as dumb as I am!" crowd, I mean. :)

Excellent article in CapitolHillBlue and how true. Things aren't going his way so the alcoholic deserter is having temper tantrums. He needs a drink bad. Our country needs him to melt down now. And let us remind all he is the number one conservative in the country. What's that say about the millions of other constitution hating lunatics?

6. An important distinction.
Dimson was ordained primarily FOR his lack of backbone and vision. Puppet would be an accurate description, not that I despise him any less for it.

considering the other evidence that is out there.

Al Hunt was dining with his wife and 4 year old child in a restaurant when Bush rushed up to him shouting "you fucking son of a bitch" for something Hunt wrote about his father.

David Rubenstein gave a speech in which he mentioned Bush's four years of membership on the Carlyle Group Board of Directors in which he said George Bush did nothing but tell dirty jokes.

We have the incident when Bush ridiculed the reporter David Gregory (now guest host on Hardball), who asked Bush a question about the protests and then tried to ask French President Chirac a question in French. "The guy memorizes four words, and he plays like he's intercontinental," said Bush. "Sir, if I could just follow," the reporter began. "Thank you," Bush shot back, as he answered the questions and then silenced Gregory. As Bush stepped away from the podium, he called to Gregory: "As soon as you get in front of a camera, you start showing off."

We have the incident when Bush was caught making a comment about a reporter during the 2000 campaign: "There's Adam Clymer, major-league asshole from The New York Times."

There's the photo of Bush giving the finger to a couple of kids from the back of a bus during the 2004 campaign when they held up Kerry signs as he drove by.

And I remember several incidents when Bush became very testy over questions, during a press conference in 2002 regarding his alleged insider trading while at Harken and when he interrupted a reporter and uttered his now infamous "Bring em on" gem.

Bush Pre-senile Dementia Video

The big story - "a striking decline in his sentence-by-sentence speaking skills." The reason? One doctor says "pre-senile dementia" a catch-all term for earlier-than-normal cognitive declines (probably "dry-drunk syndrome"). This video intercuts footage from 10 years ago with recent footage - the difference is dramatic and disturbing. And obvious.
