http://www.livejournal.com/community/thought_express/12179.htmlI sent back a reply to all, but he came back and asked me not to do that any more but just reply to him. He said that any war is an atrocity and that anypiece written is slanted toward the viewpoint of the writer. (I agreeon both counts there. He also said that he took that email to be in support of President Bush as opposed to other presidents such as Clinton, whom he felt hurt the moral battle being fought.)
So here is what I said, as I am not keep to start a flamefest that will spill out into the church and get my husband riled up.
I do agree to disagree. :^) I didn't like Clinton
either, but more for his policies, such as NAFTA and
not signing onto the Kyoto Treaty, than his personal
life.
I will also agree to not reply to your email lists,
though I do ask that you consider not sending
political notes to me if you think I might find them
troubling.
The jokes, however, I adore. You can send those to me
any time. :^D (The one about the scorned wife who left
her curtain rods behind still makes me crack up.)
