I'm new here but have already been witness to a couple flame wars.
Some funny, some down right mean! Ouch!

Thought it might be nice to hear some good comments about other posters. Please nothing mean on this thread....please :)

I figure alot of you have been posting here for quite sometime so you probably have gotten to know other posters pretty well. If you have a nice comment about another DUer let them know! :)

13. I couldn't begin to list all the DUers I admire!!!

There are numerous seriously talented members,...talented in a variety of forms: art, politics, psychology, humanity, organizing, economics. It's really, really amazing; the fabric of the best human potential, all in one cyberspot!!!

Even when my frustration over division/fragmentation on DU bursts into a gasket-blowing "screw this, I'm outta' here" thingy,...I can't help but be drawn to this place where I see the most inspiring facet of humanity. This is like my home, my family (and the most healty families get into spats and explosions).

Thank you for the post. Almost all of us are here to engage in intelligent and thought provoking discussions. I have read many great ideas and possible solutions to problems posted on these forums.

This is such a large community represented by so many different people with great passion concerning specific issues that there is bound to be a flame war now and again. It often seems pretty immature and counterproductive but deep down I know nearly every one of us here are working, writing, and speaking toward a common goal of helping to shape a future that we can all be proud of.

At times the future does indeed seem bleak but being able to jump on this site and know that there are others out there determined not to give up and still digging deep for ideas and solutions makes me very hopeful.

Thank you Titoresque for helping to keep that community spirit alive.
