Jeanine Pirro claims that Hillary Clinton promised NY 200000 jobs. Is it possible that a senator can deliver jobs? I have heard presidential candidates making this kind of claims, but presidents have control over the economy and senators dont have control over there states economies. Im a bit confused about it, is Pirro just talking nonsense???
Im not an American so I dont know the truth about what power the senators hold over their states economies please enlighten me about it?

What are Hillary Clinton’s weaknesses?Pirro: When Hillary Clinton came to New York one of the things she did was promise 200,000 jobs upstate New York after she finished her listening tour.Is it possible for a senator to be able to deliver jobs?Pirro: You know what? I’ll tell you what. I’m a prosecutor and a former judge, as you know, and I believe that we have an obligation to deliver on our promises. When you make a promise to the electorate, you don’t back off and say it was too difficult. You put your evidence where your promise is. She made a promise of 200,000 jobs. She did not deliver. There were seven bills that she introduced and they all died in committee. You know? And New Yorkers need an answer to that, you know?newsweek
