Ya wanna puke?

This just drips of bullshit. Make sure you wash up afterwards. You'll need it.

Sorry - I'll post a bit of the article:
<snip>
President Bush was wearing "a huge smile," but his eyes were red and he looked drained by the time he got to the last widow, Crystal Owen, a third-grade schoolteacher who had lost her husband in Iraq. "Tell me about Mike," he said immediately. "I don't want my husband's death to be in vain," she told him. The president apologized repeatedly for her husband's death. When Owen began to cry, Bush grabbed her hands. "Don't worry, don't worry," he said, though his choking voice suggested that he had worries of his own. The president and the widow hugged. "It felt like he could have been my dad," Owen recalled to NEWSWEEK. "It was like we were old friends. It almost makes me sad. In a way, I wish he weren't the president, just so I could talk to him all the time."

2. Good God, Stalin would blush at such an asslicking piece.
He's not just the resolute stalwart commander in chief. He's not just applying balm to the hurt of the families, the healer of the nation. He's also a man, a man who feels sorrow and empathy just like any other man...

barf.

8. Is it just me, or does this article
...seem like it was written by Karl Rove himself? I mean, you wanna talk about a total load of publicity crap.

"Tell me about Mike". "It felt like he could have been my dad". "It was like we were old friends". "I wish he weren't the president, just so I could talk to him all the time".

C'mon Karl. This article is pretty see-through. Did you stay up late putting it together?

Although I do agree with her on one point - I wish he wasn't the president either. Let's work on that one, ok?

10. Definitely seems out of character...
...you don't see him behaving like that on camera. I'd like to hold out hope that maybe there's a touch of humanity left in that man, but his reactions to Cindy Sheehan and his recent displays of cowardice and apathy give me reason for doubt. I try to look for the best in people regardless...but I don't trust this article or this President. I smell something reeeaallly feeeeeshy.....

PS - Hi boss. :D

14. I agree. This is political 'journalism' masked as reporting
How low some journalists have sunk!
I find it incredible to see a professional group that I admired and looked up to, level itself in the mud.
