Move America Forward will be conducting the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Northern California Marine Moms. She will lead the caravan to Crawford, Texas where she and Move America Forward Chairman, Melanie Morgan, will lead a "WE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS & THEIR MISSION" rally in Crawford on Saturday, August 27th, 2005.

Help me to understand this. A mother who has sent her child into harm's way and who, I must assume, has not lived in a cave these past 3 years, is willing to put politics above her child's life?

What's her point? She wants her opportunity to become a Gold Star Mom for Bush? I cannot believe that she would work against her best self interests in fighting a cause that wants our soldiers out of a no-win death trap. This has got to be the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to naive people who will sacrifice their own children, just to prove a political point.

I wonder if she's been offered a deal to get her son out of the war zone if she'll support the pResident? That's how these pricks do it. They'll have someone else do their dirty work for them.

I have a son who is a U.S. Marine, currently deployed to Fallujah, Iraq. I have three friends who have lost their sons in Iraq. One because of a vehicle roll-over and the other two in combat fire. Thank you for seeing the Nightline program for what it really is and pulling it off the stations. As a mother of a Marine, we are all dealing with a tremendous amount of stress, but then to have our loved ones demoralized on national tv cuts us all to the bone, more than you know. We are all military family because our hearts are bonded by the service of our loved ones. When one is injured, we are all injured, when one is killed, a piece inside of all of us dies. It hurts with every one whether or not we know them face to face. Our hearts know them and our families need to be supported, our Marines and troops need to be supported. All the same, not for individual reasons. Regardless of the reason, they are all heroes and should all be respected the same. Thank you once again.

loved ones are at war serving in a military they volunteered to be in. I know. My dad went to Nam for 3 tours of duty all before I was 13. There were anti-war protests all over by the time he was there in 1970-71. I certainly wasn't telling people where he was either. I kept it to myself.
