If Wilson brings down Rove and/or Cheney....
Should Kucinich get the nod?

Hey, a dead man could probably beat Bush and Asscroft in 2004 after that kind of scandal.

I'm just askin.

:D

1. "the nod"
will come from all the voters in the Democratic Primaries.

Unfortunately, DK isn't doing too well in any of the polls I've read.

5. Well, a friend of mine is at the Labour conference
He called me about 5 hours ago to say that there is going to be a vote on Iraq (reversing the previous decision by the steering executive). That's something.

He'll get a bloody nose on that. :)

4. Kucinich should have gotten the nod a long time ago
I think Dean fairly eclipsed him in getting money and support because Dean immediately appealed to the yuppie internet anti-war crowd which worked their fingers to the bone for him (even if I will say that Dean was a bit opportunistic in the way he packaged himself as an anti-war liberal when he's neither- but what the hell, his supporters are happy).

Dennis is number 1 on several non-corporate-media-controlled polls and number 1 in the Select Smart line up.

He deserves the nod and I hope he gets it from the people but it's going to take money and media- both of which Dean honestly has from a grass roots campaign (with a little help from a few corporations but nothing like the DLC people).

Progressives need to get behind Dennis and not buy into this DLC-driven electability crap because we determine electabiity with OUR votes.

Peace

6. not so fast
If 'traitorgate,' so called, brings down Rove and/or Cheney, then who wants to bet Bush might not be the Republican nominee after all.

8. Very possible
But unlikely perhaps... What if Bush refuses to let go? Two republicans (one of them being supported by the party and the other a sitting president) would split the vote in a major way. Victory would be ours with out question.
