Racial Attack at the 7-11 in Gresham, OR

GRESHAM, Ore. -- Using a machete and a sports utility vehicle, police say a group of skinheads threatened a group of African Americans in Gresham.

Police say the men were attacked for one reason, because they were black. If they were hoping to scare Kamau Herndon, they picked on the wrong guy.

Herndon went to the 7-11 to get a drink, but he got much more.

When he came out of the store one of the men said, "I'll kill you n*****."

He says he's heard racial slurs at his Gresham neighborhood's 7-11 before, but he says this was the first time he was physically threatened.
