Cindy just said on AAR that Camp Casey will be moving
she said that a neighbor (closer to the bush ranch), appalled at the guy with the gun, has offered an acre for them to use.

68. Put another way
An acre is about 76 percent the size of a football field -- including the end zones (91 percent if you don't count the end zones).

Imagine if he received thousands of thank you cards from us and others-- what a wonderful idea! Imagine thousands of cards saying "The Country Thanks You"= he'd feel great and supported, Camp Casey would be even more secure and it sure would be a great story to send to the media!

Let's see if we can pull this off!

10. Truthout mentions a farmer's cousin that owns this ranch
Its 2:20 am in Waco ... I'm back in the hotel trying to soak in a very eventful day ... well actually it was a slow day and an eventful night. Perhaps it was meant to be that we would have a day of calm before the storm.

The highlight of the day had to be the pig farmers. These three old boys looked like they walked off the ranch down the road (wouldn't want to compare anyone to the rancher across the street). These guys were from West Texas. They are very angry with the play rancher down the road a few miles and are behind Cindy one hundred percent. These guys drove their tractors to DC to protest "The Pig Tax". One of these farmers happened to have a cousin with a ranch closer to George and land that Camp Casey can move to. Like Cindy said another Camp Casey miracle...

The low point was being in the room when someone found out their friend died in Iraq. It was the first time I have ever been in the room when someone else learned of a friend or loved ones death I am so glad Cindy was there because I had no idea what to say.

It is a very strong community here; I have not seen one fight or heated argument. The cross destruction was a close second. Why, Why, Why? We will post video tomorrow of the crosses.

My sister came to visit on Friday and we have been partying our asses off for Cindy. I'll get you what I promised later this afternoon. OK? Go Cindy Go!!!!

Anyone see the big fans yet? They were supposed to go out on Friday but it is so crazy there I don't want to pester the Peace House. If anyone has seen the tent and generators and fans let me know. I canceled our vacation and bought Ray a paddling pool and ten cases of wine to make up for spending all the kitty! He's proud of me LOL!

We had plans to go to Lisbon and Barcelona but we felt the patriots and good people at Camp Casey and Peace House DESERVED it more than we WANTED it. For we surely did not NEED to go on holiday. We are a very blessed family. Here are our best gifts

Ben leaves for Iraq in early September. He is with the First Marine Division 7th Regiment 3rd Battalion India Co. We HAD to do this for Casey and Cindy. Pray for Ben please and Casey and Cindy.

Love The Binka

59. Binka, I just got off the phone with Jeff at Centex.
Jeff and his stepson delivered and set up the tent, 2 6200 watt generators, the fans and 3 side walls for the tent on Thursday afternoon. The tent is set up on the east side of the Peace House in the side yard with the fans on either end.

Danny delivered 3 super coolers on Saturday. So yes, they are there and are in much use and so gratefully appreciated by everyone!

If I'm not mistaken somewhere in all the pictures there is one of Cindy in the evening, relaxing in the tent, with a fan in the background.

Peace Binka and thank you again.

18. Thank God for this miracle.
We must always remember that there are MILLIONS of people out there that feel the same way we do about GWB. We are far from alone. And, since I am a Christian, I must note that prayers are answered. Many of us out here have been praying daily that this illegal war will end soon. We know GWB is NOT a man of faith, and we have been praying for Cindy. She truly is an angel doing God's work. The more people who stand with her, the more the media will pay attention, and public outcry is the only thing that will stop the war.

Crawford coverage: Bucolic or bogus? Some wonder what's up with TV news' affinity for hay bales

08/29/2002

By DAVID JACKSON / The Dallas Morning News

CRAWFORD, Texas – Ricky Sanders may have the most famous hay bales in America.

Want to see them? Just turn on one of the all-day cable news networks when President Bush is at his ranch in Crawford. Odds are the correspondent will be standing in front of the rolled hay bales – as well as the tool shed – on land owned by Mr. Sanders and his brothers.

Not that he's all that crazy about it.

"It's one of those deals," Mr. Sanders said, shrugging his shoulders. "There's nothing I can do about it – they're not on my property."

30. I think it would be a very good idea
to make sure that the land is left the way it was found when this is over at the end of the month. . .

and that someone approach the owners and let us know how we could take up a collection to do something very nice for them. . .like maybe. . .purchase them a couple of trees, or some permanent flowers....or even a nice basket with a gift certificate for a nursery or something.

I'm not sure why my thoughts are going to some outdoor plants. . .I think part of it is that it has always been my custom when someone dies or someone is born to buy something living to plant. It would be nice if we could come up with something to do in gratitude for the use of that acre.
