8. Just saw a bit with another grieving mother who said their
sons should be honored.

That's exactly what Cindy is doing.

CNN talking head again talked about how Cindy had talked to Bush once before, with the caveat that it was before the relevations of faulty intelligence.

Faulty intelligence? We need to get that right. Whenever we hear "faulty intelligence" we need to stress that it was not faulty, but fallacious.

4. I guess they have not heard about the mowed down crosses
and flags last night or the fact that Cindy & Co. are now moving closer to the Bush ranch courtesy of his neighbor. They always have to be forced into showing things.

13. They ignored all the emails I sent to CNN last night.
Variety of different addresses all ending with "@cnn.com."

Why does CNN hate our fallen soldiers?

:argh:

"it would elevate her"

browstein what the fu* are you talking about

NOT TALKING TO HER ELEVATES HER

Talking to her would show that * might care for the soldiers he murdered in Iraq

6. None of this would be happening if brush had talked to her
in the beginning. What is the freaking big deal???? Just talk to the poor woman. So what if others want to do the same thing and talk to him. Brush should talk to them all. Maybe do a "real" town hall meeting then end it there. Brush should be flattered that this grieving mother who sacrificed her son, wants to speak to him. Elevate, schmelevte, so what. So she gets her two minutes of fame out of it, big freaking deal. Just talk to her.

All he would have to do is say he is willing to talk to any grieving mother, father, widow or orphan, then set up a big town hall meeting and talk to them. That would diffuse the situation and set up parameters on who would be knocking at his door next. So he spends some time consoling the grieving, so what. Just talk to her.

9. this is the best idea I've heard in awhile.....somebody should
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 09:05 AM by Gabi Hayes
advise Cindy to take this approach, because it would take the onus off HER.

It would allow her to tell everyone that it's not about HER, but about all the other families who've lost loved ones to the lies.

you know it'll never happen, but I think the idea of a town meeting has MUCH greater resonance than the thought of just one person insisting on meeting the POTUS

how can ANYbody be against Bush taking them all on at once?

Bring em on, dumbass!

10. Yes, this is a giant hole of their own digging, just like
the war itself. These people are just stupid and short-sighted when it comes to anticipating the consequences of their behavior. We've seen it over and over again. Concrete and magic thinking. Everything is an either-or situation and because believe it, it is so.

14. You know why he won't talk to her right?
It would be a totally unscripted event in unfriendly territory. moron* is incapable of talking extemporaneously. It would be a total mush mouth moment of epic proportions for the idiot*. Unless he has his little transmitter taped to his back and a receiver in his ear, he* is unable to do shit. The guy* is a complete befuddled moron*
