Make the crosses bigger and better!

Anything to help the redneck and his pick em up truck. :sarcasm:

We can do the following:

1. Make the crosses bigger
2. Place the crosses closer together
3. Fill an occasional cross with cement
4. Place heavy duty steel rods through the center of the crosses
5. Wrap the crosses with heavy gauge steel coating
6. strips of something around the perimeter at night
7. security cameras

Whatever we can do to help the vandal remember his next trip through the crosses. (Some ideas from mailbox defense out here in rural America). Other (legal) ideas are welcome.

2. Nah, there're safer methods -

like four inch nails - available at the local "blue" hardware store - don't go into the big box stores.

Paint a thin board green (or to match the ground cover) and pound them through the board.

Then place them point up.

Or, better yet - put out a few crosses that have white nails pounded through both sides - for when they're run over . . .

3. The thing is...

The guy will then sue. Some farmer reinforced his mailbox because it was always getting destroyed by vandals driving by and hitting it with a baseball bat. The guy who did it after he reinforced it broke both his arms and sued the guy.

While the cameras are rolling, quietly and respectfully pick up the crosses from the tire tread marks, lovingly wipe them off, and place them back in the holes where they were in the first place. Then, quietly walk away.

If it happens again, repeat the respectful replacement of crosses.

Why is there always someone who wants to be violent? Makes no sense to me. Patch them up and put them back in place with respect.

Regarding the use of nail or tire blowout strips...I read in another post about children being in the Arlington West area. Then all hell would break loose if a young child were to be hurt.
