Bush Neighbors Ask Commissioners For Protest Ban
http://www.kwtx.com/news/headlines/1686626.html

Some of President Bush's neighbors asked McLennan County officials Tuesday to block future demonstrations like the anti-war protest underway at a campsite near the President’s Crawford ranch.

Several residents complained of road blockages and traffic jams in the last week since dozens of war protesters started pitching tents off the road leading to the Bush ranch.

Residents submitted a petition bearing more than 60 signatures to McLennan County commissioners Tuesday morning.

It appeals to commissioners to expand a no parking zone on the road leading to Mr. Bush's ranch.

2. As long as this is a "working vacation,"
the protesters have every right to be there.

4. yeah, I really believe the neighbors came up with that on their own
I'll bet it was instigated by BushCO and passed out to the locals. Frigging coward hasn't left the house since Saturday, so far as I can tell.

5. I can't entirely blame them...
I probably would have moved from Crawford the minute numbnuts bought the ranch next door, of course, but it would be pretty irritating to have the press, security details, and god only knows who else clogging up the roads every time the Tourist From Connecticutt drops in for a visit.

6. Honestly, I can see their viewpoint...
If I lived in a dust-speck of a town and enjoyed that kind of life, I'd be pissed that a bunch of people were coming in and crowding up the joint too.
But in that case, the problem isn't the protestors themselves. It's the fact that Bush has his stage prop there.
