Idiotic Freeper statement of the week
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 02:48 PM by Walt Starr
To: SunnySide
I think the judge is full of it. From what it looks like to me, these white crosses are probably store bought at some garden store. I would image that they would cost about $5.00 to $10.00 each. It looked like the pro-sadamm hussein crowd just rubber banded the names on the crosses. Not much effort involved. I highly doubt that the actual damages amounted to anything near $1500. I think someone in the legal community has an agenda. What the guy did was VERY STUPID. It was at night, and he could have hit someone out there. I think the law just wants to set an example to prevent anything else like this from happening.

Idiot Freeper! Let's do the math, shall we? We'll even lowball with your smallest estimate to make you look better.

$5 per cross. One cross for every soldier who has died in Iraq. That's 1852 crosses. Doing the math on your lowball estimate, that's $9260!!!!!

Sorry. The moran (sic) probably doesn't know his times tables above 4.

3. Heck, even if you give him even more credit...
And say Northern only hit, say, half the crosses -- that's still more than three times as much as this idiot's estimate. But best not go too much deeper into it. We don't want to confuse them.

6. Yes, idiotic freeper but I don't think they had 1800+ crosses up
I think it was like 500 or 800, but even so that is 2500-4000 dollars for 5 dollar crosses, the freeper said at 5-10 dollars each, 1500 dollars was way too much. So, either way, he didn't learn his multiplication before he dropped out of fourth grade.

I think they said they had less than a thousand crosses, about 100 destroyed. I don't know how much they cost each.

13. The author
probably has no idea how many soldiers and marines have been lost in Iraq. That might be why he can't come up with $1500.

Oh, and the "pro-sadamm hussein crowd" -- whould that be Rummy? I doubt anyone at Camy Casey has had their photo taken while shaking hands with him, but we all know Rummy has.

that the freeper thought it was stupid because it was night. Apparently plowing over a memorial to fallen soldiers wouldn't be stupid if done in daylight? :eyes:
