I Just Paid $47.60 For Gas-- Thanks Dubya!
Granted, I do drive a pickup truck... but still $47.60 for gasoline is outrageous. Especially for a 17 year old high school student paying it out of his own pocket like me.

We oughta tell the Middle East what they can do with their oil. But of course, I know Bush's cronies wouldn't like that one bit.

1. OPEC is more than just the ME
I suspect that this is the way that the member nations are getting back at America for being such asshats.

3. l'll bet you didn't get your windows washed and under the hood
check either. When I was your age, I got all of that and didn't have to pump my own gas either for 35 cents a gallon.

7. I overheard a discussion at the fuel pump today by a guy
towing a boat. He said that a bunch of his friends who are boaters are all talking about selling their boats because they can no longer afford the luxury of boating due to the high price of gas. This will devastate several industries including tourism. But I guess that's what happens when an oil dependent country decides to vote for an oil man.

17. But who's going to buy them?
A boat (even more than a car because most are 2-cycle engines- although 4-cycle engines are becoming mor popular) is a hole in the water you throw money into.

26. lmao, just cause I use a bike doesn't mean I don't have my license.
I can't manage to find a job so my parents ensure my on one of their cars. But when they use the car they record how far I went on it, and I get handed extra chores. I'm too lazy to do chores so I just take my bike!

20. I paid 2.42/gal last Thursday. I still had almost half a tank before that,
so I'm not sure what it will cost me next week. Gas is 2.59 to 2.68, so there's a good chance it'll be over $25 to do my 10-1/2 gal tank.

Hubby is gone right now, but I shudder to think about filling up his truck. (Ford F150 V-6 - all the shitty mileage of a V-8, none of the power!)

Too long ago to remember. I usually just go to $20 or $25. Costs too much to actually fill the tank.
