where he himself said people like him belong? He's a monster, and has harmed this country immeasurably.

He has no feelings, except for himself ~ no children, can't keep any relationship going ~ couldn't serve his country when other people his age were doing the fighting in a war he supported. Why does anyone even listen to him anymore?

He laughed about the torture, could care less about the troops, probably looks at them as idiots and they use him to break down normal decency barriors, which is what he is doing with that statement. The same thing he did to diffuse the reaction to the torture photos.

We need to not allow him to do this anymore. I am personally outraged to hear him say that and outrage is what he needs to hear from thousands and thousands of Americans. He's been given a free ride for way too long ~ it's time to take him on.

He needs to be challenged to a debate on Air America with Randi Rhodes (who did serve in the military, btw). It was he who made such a big deal about Clinton and military service, all the time hiding his own draft dodging. Now that he made such a big deal over being in the military, it's coming back to haunt him.

What a useless piece of human garbage he is ~ I don't understand why his trial hasn't started yet.

Nationally syndicated radio host Rush Limbaugh equated the actions of Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq, with those of Bill Burkett, the retired Texas Air National Guard officer who provided CBS' 60 Minutes with unauthenticated documents regarding President Bush's National Guard record. Sheehan is currently staging an anti-war protest outside Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. Limbaugh said that Sheehan's "story is nothing more than forged documents."

Sheehan's "story" is, in fact, that her son died while fighting in Iraq. A Humvee mechanic, Spc. Casey Sheehan was one of seven U.S. soldiers killed in Baghdad's Sadr City on April 4, 2004, by rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire.

...he's threatened by Cindy.

I've listened to Rush for several years and I know his modus operandi.

When he (or the administration) feels that something on the Dem side is gaining ground--Rush attacks it and makes fun of it. More specifically--he cackles a fake laugh and explains that, "This is good news! It shows that they're imploding. I'm not worried about this at all. It just shows how desperate they are."

Trust me. Rush and other Reps are scared to death of Cindy Sheehan. They know that the media coverage is only drawing more attention to Bush's failings and the failure of Iraq. They also understand that Cindy's event could draw further interest, more protesters and that it could grow into the breakthrough event that causes the entire country to turn against junior.

I wanted to scream through the radio, "Ok Rush! If you're soooo not concerned about Cindy Sheehan--why did you just spend the entire first hour of your show trying to convince America that you're not threatened by her?"

Rush is incredibly transparent and ineffective. I wish I had a dime for every time he says the word "dovetail". The man needs some new schtick.
