What do these people believe in...do they even know themselves?
When the war in Iraq first started it was all "support the troops", "Love America or leave it." They wear more yellow ribbons on their SUV's than any of us.

And yet, the crosses symbolizing the casualties in Iraq are mowed down; a dead marine's family's plea to Bush is being freeped at Yahoo as I write (link: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=4374243&mesg_id=4374243) and Limbaugh goes on the air today calling Sheehan a liar. Remember that woman in F911 who told Lela Lipscomb she was lying about her son's death?

What kind of monsters are these? If they don't have any sympathy for those who really deserve it, what in the world do they care about?

1. Their leaders believe in $$$$$$

and how to make more over the dead bodies of our Servicemen, who, unfortunately, are just pawns in their corporate greed games. Rush is a drug addicted windbag loser, who's not worth losing sleep over. And freepers are inbred hillbilly morons. The public is slowly but surely waking up to these ass hats, and their days are numbered. And they know it, and it scares them.

2. money!
I agree!! The ones at the top are motivated purely by money! The ones under them are just parroting what the leadership tells them with the misguided notion that they are being 'loyal' and 'patriotic'.

But this deception won't last much longer. People are losing faith in this administration........even Republicans are losing faith! Which says a lot!!

And this Cindy situation is damaging Bush in ways he hasn't even imagined yet!! Imagine........being so unsympathetic to someone who was directly harmed by the war that he declared based on lies!

3. Ghouls without souls have no beliefs. They are no better than
serial murderers.

4. Do we need a whole new code of ethics or acceptable
behavior to be drawn up and then taught in schools? I really am worried about how rabid people become when the leadership they expect to guide them turns out to be morally bankrupt. This is what is happening What they believed to be true collapses and they don't have any solid principles to guide them back.

They were sold a package of lies that this was a noble war. It wasn't. It was a war of greed started by a corrupt administration. So when the tables turned they don't know how to react. They find the enemy in the victims instead of looking at the criminals who created the victims as deserving of their rancor.

5. They are minions, questioning nothing and readily accepting
whatever lies they are told at face value. It still astonishes me that people are able to do this. I think for myself.

we do teach our children not to question authority. Maybe this needs to change. Maybe we need to give our kids a blueprint of acceptable and unacceptable ethical values to apply to our leaders and tell them that it's all right not to accept what they stand for if it's unethical.
