So what pop culture pablum will knock the Wilson story off?
Come on. We've been here before. Huge story on the cusp of breaking and getting some major media attention. We get ourselves all excited at the prospect of some real live accountability and then all of a sudden....some actor decides to run for office.....some basketball player is accused of something....some celebrity marriage breaks up or begins.....and on and on and on....The cycle is endless and I see no reason to think this one will be any different.

1. And in breaking new developments
Kobe Bryant apparently ate chicken the night of the incident. Tonight, a special report. Does chicken induce athletes into marital infidelity (because we all know Kobe couldn't have actually done this, that would call into question the way male althletes are raised in our society). Film at 11:00

3. I predict
Kobe Bryant will leave his wife for Scott Peterson and they'll get married by newly-ordained minister Gary Condit in a ceremony in California hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

4. Does Ahnuld count as pop culture pablum?
'Cause that's the broom being used to sweep any serious issues on to the cutting room floor.

5. Well, the CA recall isn't
pop culture pablum, but the fact that Arnold is actually the frontrunner sure slips it into that category.

9. AHHnold--pop culture, alright.
He's barely more one-dimensional than a cartoon character, but Ahhnold and the California Recall will overshadow any big story coming out of the White House. (Especially if the media want it that way). The story began to fade last week until the miraculous poll taken over the weekend.

10. Hey NutJob
If she was an analyst why would the CIA request the Justice Deparment to investigate? If she was an analyst why would the Justice Department decide to start a full investigation?

Why would the CIA leak the name of one of its own people?

Just exactly how stupid can you be?

Head are going to roll for this. Welcome to TraitorGate!

11. Actually we have been following the story for some time.
The press has just recently picked it up in full, and NOW, NOW the pResident has to scurry away from it like the "C average" coward that he is.

BTW: Do you have the link to the CIA outing it's own?
