Subject: Who's really supporting?

No offense to people who put “support our troops” stickers on their cars (because it is a good thing). Unfortunately, some people think that all they have to do is put a sticker on and they are done.


I haven’t spent much time on the Cindy Sheehan thing (although I have online) because it seems to be getting a fairly healthy amount of attention. However, today I saw some reports mention the crosses while others ignored it. But NO ONE pointed out how hypocritical it was for the crosses (honoring those who have died in the Iraq war) being destroyed by the people who supported the war so much in the first place. Those same people called those who were against the war unpatriotic. Maybe now people can understand how people can support the troops and not support the war while others can support the war but not the troops.


This is one bad apple and it doesn’t mean the whole tree is bad. However, I know one thing. If the tree was better taken care of, the chances an apple would go bad would be less likely. Bush has not yet condemned the event and I don’t think he will.

Unfortunately it's too early in the morning yet to remember which thread or by whom though.

What sad pathetic human beings those people are who think running over memorials for DEAD soldiers is in anyway shape or form a "good" thing. They are most assuredly not Patriots, Christians or "Compassionate"... THEY are in fact TRAITORS to all the things that true PATRIOTIC Americans believe in, goodness knows they certainly seem ignorant of American History, what the Constitution says and what principles the United States were REALLY founded on.

Because of my own personal life history (and being a mother who taught her now adult children that these things are VERY wrong) I think if I were to chose the top 5 things that overall disgust me the most about the ANTI-American ANTI-Patriotic Neo-Cons and BushCo, other then the BIG stuff like RAPE, TORTURE and MURDER :grr: they would be: The LIES, The HYPOCRISY, the BULLY behavior, the total LACK of accepting ANY "Personal Responsibility" for incorrect behavior, wrong decisions, etc and the amazing ABSENSE of true and caring about anything except of course their own extremely narrow money grubbing power grabbing agendas for themselves and their "buddies". :grr:
