13. I don't care to be the one to do it. But I think it is very debatable

that NeoCons really support Israel. They certainly aren't doing what is in the best interest of Israel as I see it. For all his faults I think Clinton really wanted to do what was in the best interest of both parties in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Had his second term not been turbulent I think he could have accomplished a good deal.

Instead we have a group that will use Israel to the max. They might not betray THEIR concept of it but that is not everybody's concept of it.

I do find it annoying that we get from Jerrold Nadler - "no analysis of the war in Iraq can fairly include Israel" but when there is a peace movement here one of the first things to surface is - Israel and what are the opinions on its' role.

Well I'll let Senator Durbin address the parodoxes and contradictions of American political discourse. Surely the ADL can help him out with it.

12. Opposition to Israeli policies is not anti-Semitism

It's the worst sort of race baiting, but of course it's rampant in American politics, where you basically can't get elected to or hold on to the vast majority of seats in Congress without AIPAC's approval.

Isreal is not the 51st state. Until they are genuinely willing to return to their pre-67 borders and live in peace with their neighbors, then I don't think the defense of Israel is worth a single American life.

And it scares the hell out of me that there are people close to the leadership of our government who would consider a widerpead war in the near east to be a god thing (harbinger of the end times).
