Franken said people were just getting up and around, would be moving to their new location in time for Friday's memorial service. It sounds like he may be assigned there for a while. Wonders never cease!

On edit -- CNN has been doing a pretty good job of covering Camp Casey, maybe the best job of any news organization, including the print press. I'm very surprised. And this is important because most people who get any news get it from their TV set.

7. This Morning on CNN

This morning on CNN, they had a local County Commissioner complaining about all the vehicles parked on his county road along Camp Casey. The County is thinking about prohibiting all parking along the entire road (the current prohibition only applies to the portion closest to Bush's ranch). Then he complained, while CNN was interviewing him live, that CNN's truck was partially blocking the road. The anchorman said "Well, can we at least get through this interview first."

I saw that interview. Miles O'Brien was the interviewer. I was pleased to hear him report that FLAGS and crosses were plowed over on Monday. Hopefully he won't be served any Kool-Aid for lunch!

10. Anderson Cooper is supposed to have a feature on it tonight

I got home late & was going to flip from CNN to MSNBC for Olbermann coming up in a few minutes and I caught Cooper talking about Cindy Sheehan. Of course, then I missed Olbermann because my daughter wanted to watch "Panda & the Magic Serpent."

He oversimplified Cindy's position ("demanding immediate pullout") and said the Coward's response is "stay the course".

30. He is doing what most every tv reporter is doing. Not getting Cindy's

point deliberately. From oversimplifying it by saying that she just wants to see him to as you just said the reported, get the troops out. They don't want to touch the lies that sent us into the war in the first place.

On edit... I always have these afterthoughts once I press send.

If they did want to touch it, the big debates on tv would be driven about if there were lies or not. The Downing Street Memos would by now be household words.

saw Bob Franken reporting from Camp Casey. Some guy with flowing long grey beard and hair in a tye dye T shirt had a huge home made flag that looked like he used crayons kept getting behind him for his five minutes of fame. As if someone called central casting and asked for a "radical left wing hippie type" and they sent him. Hey, I love hippies, but we need to be media savvy here. Cindy's success is that she appeals to the "average" American, the reason America recoiled at the Shiavo fiasco were the extremists. Don't let that happen at Camp Casey.
