most Americans are too stupid or too self absorbed to do any research or thinking for themselves, and they can't accept the fact that the Bush Administration either A) Knew what was coming and allowed it to happen, or B) Made it happen. In any case, 9/11 furthered the PNAC agenda, and this is just too mind boggling and frightening a concept for some people to wrap their minds around. They'd rather keep their blinders on, and believe that the attacks were carried out by Third World fanatics, who could barely qualify to fly a Cessna, at the behest of some low tech guy living in a cave in Afghanistan.
