UPDATE on CINDY VIDEO's submitted to CURRENT TV

We've gotten some really terrific comments on "Grace at Camp Casey" at Current's site, as well as a lot of votes. I'm assuming at least some of them are from y'all!

I have to go to work. If someone gets a chance before I do to link this to the "Cindy Day 11" thread once it appears, I'd appreciate it!

Pls be aware of a couple of things:

1. Just visiting the video on Current without actually voting only helps so much. Right now, it shows 126 viewings but only 39 folks have voted to "greenlight" it. You'll have to "register" to actually greenlight it, but the registration's no worse than at amazon, and they don't want a credit card!

2. To go to Current, rather than clicking on the link I've given you, it's probably best to paste the address into your browser (pls e-mail me if you have any question about this). You can also just google "current tv", then click on "studio" in the lower right corner, then in upper right corner search for "cindy sheehan".

The hit count on our main page for the video is up to 4,421. The video's still on Boing Boing, and 127 folks have linked their own sites to our main page through Boing Boing. (Again, if you want to put a link on your own site, feel free!)

If you haven't already done so, please help spread Cindy's words and counter the conservative media bias against her by voting on Current and making others aware of the video while it's still timely!

But I've never seen the page look quite like that, and if you try to view "Grace" from there, it looks terrible.

I just can't even sign up at the CURRENT site..no matter how many times I try, and no matter if I type EXACTLY what is in the damn image, EXACTLY, it won't let me sign up with their image verification. It's b.s.

It really is a great video. Unlike MSM reports from Camp Casey, there's no RW trash talk to counter-act the impact of what you're seeing - it's just Cindy and other mothers speaking from the heart. They mention that the soldiers don't even have the basic supplies they need, like food, water and boots! :grr: It deserves to be seen. It needs to be seen.

By the way, for those of you who gave Current TV a try early on and were a bit disappointed ...

I know how you feel because I felt the same way. But then I gave it a another chance and I realized how valuable it could be to us if we learn how to use it correctly. I posted a thread about it a couple of weeks ago - Hooked on Current
