Democrats talking about Sheehan on the talking head shows need to use
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 11:29 AM by Walt Starr
the word COWARD when speaking about his refusal to meet with Sheehan.

Hang the term around his neck like a noose.

"Well Chris, if you ask me Bush's refusal to meet with Cindy Sheehan has the hint of COWARDICE in it."

"Wolf, I must say, only a COWARD would refuse to meet with a Gold Star Mother upset about the death of her son."

"What's the president AFRAID of, Paula? She's just a harmless Gold Star Mother upset about the death of her son!"

1. Ha! I Wish They Had The Guts!
But you're damn right they should! Repubs wouldn't bat an eyelash calling a Dem a coward, but the Dems, I'm sure, think it just wouldn't be nice :eyes:

2. They should also add that the DSM changed EVERYTHING about why Bush
went to war and when he DECIDED to go to war. It was NOT based on ANY evidence gathered by weapons inspectors.

3. And mention avoidance...
he avoids direct confrontation with dissent in any form. He stages "town hall" meetings only with those who are sympathetic in attendance, he never sees protestors, he AVOIDED serving his country in Viet Nam, ad nauseum.

He avoids the truth whenever possible.

4. What I'd say is
"What? Is Bush afraid of a mother who lost her son in Iraq? Why won't he meet with her? Why is he afraid of one little woman?"

7. I think they - - and we - - need to mention "Republicans"
at every opportunity.

I think it's clear that Bush has lost a lot of his support, but he could not have gotten away with what he's done if not for REPUBLICAN support.

We have got to do everything legal to get Republicans out of office.
