CNN is doing their best to kill the Cindy story..
They are doing everything they can to put as much opposition on as possible.. No mention of Bush saying I have to go on with my life, etc. and definitely not equal time.

8. CNN has no loyalty to anyone but their shareholders and investors
The ONLY thing you can reasonably read into any emphasis or de-emphasis they put on any story, any POV, etc. is a motivation to increase viewership therefore ratings therefore profits.

14. you said it the coorporations own the media...and bush owns the
coorporations. I work for a fortune 500 company and last year during the campaign one of the states directors mentioned in his speech to us at a meeting how beneficial it would be if shrub won the election.

27. Bush isn't the only person who owns corporations
Lots of powerful, connected, wealthy people do. (And they're not all connected to the Bush family or even the GOP.)

I see people on the right whining about the "left-wing media". I see people on the left whining about the "right-wing media".

They can't both be right, but they can both be wrong. The media WANT to piss you off or do anything to get your attention so you'll watch them.

And it's working.

11. smear smear smear
they are saying Cindy is simply a pr phenomenae "bankrolled by Ben Cohen" (no mention of True Majority). I got so mad I turned it off. But I heard Cindy might talk, so I turn it on, and every time it is some right winger. One said that this was a plot by Dems running for Senate and Congress. Hmmm.....I know of one Congresswoman and one who is running for Congress coming, that's all. The snears of the rwingser are sickening. The Camp Casey folks are stronger than I am-I couldn't stand to be around the liars.

That's hardly killing it. Sure, we all wish CNN would follow the DU line, but they're giving the story an incredible amount of attention.

18. they're killing it by doing everything they can to show it in a negative.
THe president gets a walk for saying he has to go on with his life, for going to war without really caring i there were wmd there or not.etc.. They try to trip her up, show several opinions in favor of
bush, but only one, Cindy, that agrees with Cindy. They get some poor father of a lost soldier who goes on ad repeats the tired old it is because of 911 that we are in Iraq.. NO one expresses to him that Faux news has been lying to him. They put on a PR shill for republicans yet no mention that he is one.. etc.etc.etc.

17. I'm not seeing that at all. Cooper's program is called
360 because he supposedly relates all sides of the story. Let them expose both sides; isn't that what's been lacking in the news lately? The fact that this is on is one for us horrid peacemongers!

21. I didn't say one on one, I said the fact that the whole
thing is being covered is good. I heard Cindy, I heard Trippi, and the message has not been lost. Balanced coverage, no. But coverage nonetheless; a week ago we were all wondering why no one was covering this.

Don't get emotional over this. Get logical on their asses! Think! Go on and let yourself be FREE! They are doing us a favor. If Cindy can't answer the hard questions that Bush runs from. Why should anyone listen to her above Bush?

24. I'm done with CNN.
Again. I quit watching them last November, but have been sucked in here and there since Cindy started getting some air time. I've regretted it every time. No more for me.

I've written dozens of emails, made phone calls, but nothing works. They don't even care if they lose viewers. They serve only their corporate masters.

We really, really need to overthrow the media.

They can try to frame her however they want but it won't work. Her message is clear and her pain speaks to the heart of everyone. Let them blow hard. Cindy's house is made of bricks.

26. I'm not suprised, I stopped tuning in after the stolen election.
The media is loyal to their bread and butter not us...

In fact I'm shocked they even report on this at all. Just shows how Cindy is able to do what many could not. I doubt if CNN can out Cindy, what she is doing having a snowball effect on our country. Everyday her support grows.

Personally, I haven't felt this energized since January (when the idiot was sworn in again)!

29. Not surprisingly
the corporate whores have all missed the real story here - because they don't want to touch it. If they were "news" organizations, they'd be clamoring for interviews with Cindy - real interviews in which they asked her to talk about her son, his death, and how she came to be sitting in the Texas sun demanding accountability. What does she know that other Gold Star families who support the war don't?

Sliming her instead of listening to her. American "journalism" has become a sick, fucking joke.
