A tactic overlooked?
If Georgie Jr. wants to hide away and pretend that everyone has to do what HE wants, shouldn't he be treated as any other wilfull negligent child?

And, what is the nemesis of any willful negligent child?

Parental intervention.

Regardless of what anyone may think of George Sr., he, at least, attempts to "get along with others" (must come from not having any genetic material donated by Barbara Bush).

Someone suggested yesterday that perhaps Clinton or Carter should consider joining Cindy on her vigil.

Personally, I believe the onus for cleaning up Jr.'s mess should go to the person who has always encouraged and enabled Jr.'s failures. Personally, I never liked Sr. as president but, with the exception of Dan Quayle as VP, he did manage to give the appearance of having actual synaptic activity between both of his brain cells.

Since Jr. is not going to meet with Cindy (he doesn't WANNA!), perhaps a subtle form of pressure could be placed upon Sr. to explain that sometimes - in the world of adults - it's necessary to do what you would rather not do.

If nothing else, any attempted exertion of influence by Sr. should be a sure-fire irritant for Jr.
