13. It is certainly a big test
of political crisis managemenent... If they get out in front and fire the offending party.......this goes away. If on the other hand, they stonewall and obsfucate and perjure or subbon perjury or obstruct.....then we could well be looking at an impeachable offense.

Personlly I am hoping the source was Cheney not Rove.

16. Don't know if they'll
be able to stick this on *. Too many people who will take a fall for him and rove, I suspect. Still you never know who will sing to reduce a prison term or avoid it completely. I hope what transpired becomes transparent.

that Novak "allowed himself to be used" and that this wasn't newsworthy, so he doesn't know why Novak reported it.

15. Novak reported it because he's proud of his connections
and likes to flaunt his "insider" status. Kurtz must be the only reporter drawing breath that doesn't know that. :eyes:

21. That ass keeps saying a full-blown investigation has been launched
Is it just me or is he trying his best to make it seem like an independent "full-blown" investigation has been launched?

Sounds to me like this is how the media will help sweep this under the rug.

"Today the results of Wilsongate investigation were released. Turns out nothing wrong happened. After the thorough investigation we learn that the supposed CIA agent was actually just a secretary of an analyst and that absolutely nothing illegal happened. Furthermore it found that Democrats are evil. I guess we should have checked the facts better and we apologize to King George for making unjustified accusations. When the press leans so far to the left that sort of thing can happen and we apologize. Alright when we come back on Wolf Blitzer reports we've got new developments on Clinton's penis. An article in the liberal New York Post claims that Clinton's penis had a long standing role as a prominent member of Al Queda."
