Perhaps BushCo's top CIA resources have been drying up. They may not have the control they once had. THINK about it!! The CIA went to the press and Congress - asking/demanding that they investigate the White House!! How often has that EVER happened??

to the CIA; he was director for less than a year, and at a time when the CIA was in disarray (this was after the Church committee hearings.)

We don't know whether or not Poppy was a member of The Company prior to his role as director, so it's tough to say how much influence he has with them.

I think we tend to overexaggerate his role with them here.

Follow me here. Bush is the grand poopa of the CIA. Arranges this whole diversion with Tenet to get Mrs.Wilson's monitoring network offline for some period of time. Move Saudi prestaged WMD precursors into position for October surprise. Also nice to arrange a lack of Islamic coverage by barring those networks temporaily (we can handle US media,no problem there).
