Cindy and taxes

I was listening to Shultz yesterday and he mentioned that he had heard that Cindy wasn't going to pay taxes as a form of protest. He indicated that he was going to ask her if that were true. Has anyone heard what the answer was? I've been traveling and just got home so I need to catch up.

I don't know if Cindy said it or not but it's SOP for the peace movement. I think there's a special code for it (ie: not paying taxes in protest) and everything.

I could be stupid too. But you never know. :)

2. She explained to the condescending Paula Zahn yesterday

that, since 50% of our taxes our going to this war, that she would pay 50% of her taxes that go for other things, but not the 100%. I really don't think this is a good idea, but I'm sure she's talked to a tax lawyer; anyway, I hope she has because there's nothing the opposition would like better than to get her on tax evasion.

3. when Paula Zahn asked her

she said she pays property taxes which go to pay for schools but that 50% of income tax goes toward funding the war and she wont do it.

4. War tax resistance is as old as the anti-war movement,

and is a very courageous and respectable way to protest the war budget.
Some people send their tax money chose charities, some pay only a portion of their taxes and some refuse to pay the Federal Telephone Tax.
