BTK killer Sentenced

WICHITA, Kansas (CNN) -- The family of BTK serial killer Dennis Rader's first victims confronted him in court during Thursday's sentencing hearing, calling him a coward, who failed to destroy their family.

Charlie Otero said that Rader did irreversible harm to his entire family, and that "their lost lives are missed yet to this day."

I feel for the families of the victims of a serial killer... But isn't it a good thing that this coverage is wall-to-wall and we don't have to worry about any of the other "bad stuff" that could be happening anywhere in the world. And what about the vastly larger number of people (both US and Iraqi) dying in Iraq? :banghead:

He basically just said that there was no reason for the media circus around his sentencing and there was no reason for this level of coverage. He should've been sentenced in 15 minutes (or so) in a closed room.
