GOP hit machine calling Wilson liberal, Wilson donated 1000 to Bush "99"
The GOP hit machine are desparate to lable Wilson as a liberal, but according to Josh Marshall Wilson contributed $1000 to the Bush campaign in 1999. This is what has gotten these guys in trouble in the first place in an effort to get back at Wilson they released the name of his wife. Now they are trying to lable him as a partisan and we now find out he donated to Bush.

1. The Bush spin machine will not work with this one.
Mr. Wilson clearly said on C-Span that with his job, he has to be impartial. He has worked for Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and now Bush* II. But if you listen to some of these right wing talking points, they are labeling him as a Dem that doesn't like Bush*.

Exactly, which is why he must be stopped (or so they think).

3. He is a Dem that doesn't like Bush.
I have seen him on TV and he is pretty open about it.

Who cares. His political leaning are irrelevant. He is not really the story. They are just trying to side track the real story which is that someone in the White House exposed a covert CIA operative. Wilson's liberal leanings do not obviate this fact.

5. I love the talking points. Some one must hand them out and off they go.
My cousin and I did that in high school. We thought up this saying and in a week every one in the high school was using it. We had a great time doing it. We also got a make believe tent show going and half the people thought their was a tent show and the other half played the game. That was also fun
