As pleased as I am to see the MSM making a feeble attempt to cover the growing anti-war movement, I believe it has nothing to do with integrity and everything to do with the apparent shift in public opinion. And yeah, I know they feed upon one another. But bloggers and folks like the people here at DU deserve more credit for bringing awareness to the average american than does anybody else.

And I mentioned this at last night's vigil, but the MSM is stioll treating this as a mere human interest story. Now that Cindy's gone to attend to attend to her stricken mother, it's twice as much of a human interest story.

But Camp Casey remains lit and full, which is good.

Looks to me as if they're covering it as the swelling antiwar movement it is.

Anyone who didn't watch Countdown tonight, catch Keith Olbermann interviewing Pat Buchanan on the re-air about the whole thing. You may not agree with everything Pat said, but they sure weren't talking about it as a "human interest" story.
