I am very worried about the safety of Cindy Sheehan
Last week all of the right wing attack parrots were branding her as a liar- "But...but...she's already met with the president!" When that didn't work they switched to the mantra of "She's crazy!" Well, since "we all know" that "crazy people" often become despondent and take their lives...I think you see where I'm going with this.
It would not be the first time that a bushco antagonist has conveniently "suicided"

2. Did she take a plane to see her Mother?
I know I'm being paranoid, the problem is I don't know if I'm being paranoid enough.

4. You're not paranoid ...

I had the same concerns when she got on the plane for L.A.

We've all seen it happen before: Someone opposes Bush* and they get suicided or Wellstoned. I'm very worried for her.

9. "Wellstoned" the very same term came to my mind.
You must be a genius too.:P All seriousness aside, I intend to coin that term in my realm. It is perhaps more apt than we think.

10. I can't take credit for it ... the term popped up on DU ...
soon after he was killed.

I miss him.

5. I read somewhere a couple hours ago she was flying from DFW to LAX
which should be safe. A lot moreso than the drive to/from the airport anyway...

6. I've had the same fears.
The idiot shooting into the air at "doves" (gee... that isn't too subtle, is it?)

The idiot driving his truck over the crosses. What if someone had been kneeling there and he didn't see them?

Remember, the Kennedy brothers, MLK, Medgar Evers and countless others were assassinated.

We've heard countless stories of being run off the road and being attacked for having Kerry/anti-*/liberal stickers and signs on our cars/homes/persons.

We've all been verbally attacked. Many of us have stories of families and friends sending us hate mail and staging ugly confrontations against us.

When will they start coming after us?

7. It certainly wouldn't surprise me.
I can't imagine the pressure she's under, but it's not suicide I worry about. There are an awful lot of crazies out there . . .

12. Yes, and it seems that ...
her run of unfortunate personal news this week would lend to their "spin" of a "suicide" ... husband files for divorce last week .... mother has a stroke today ... you see where I'm going, right?

14. If they were stupid enough to harm Cindy
another Cindy would show up

And another mother

and another

and another.

People would be so pissed, they would come out in droves to stand in for her.

No, Rove et al are learning a valuable lesson their mothers never taught them: what your mouth say, your ass pay...( there's a better way to say this in Portuguese but...) or in other words, you reap what you sow.

They have always gotten by through smearing their opponents. If that doesn't work, they kill them. Eliminate the squeaky wheel - eliminate any problem. But this only works for so long. Hitler did a lot of damage, but in the end the truth was revealed and his life's work was crushed.

He took only shame to the grave, no matter how many people he eliminated.

Same with * and Co. no matter how many people they eliminate.

15. what really scares me is . . .
that BushCo is capable of ANYTHING . . . in their drive for American hegemony and a totalitarian state, there are no boundaries . . . witness 9/11, the Iraq war, the Patriot Act, etc. . .

(fyi, on the issue of 9/11, I am strictly FIOP: Facilitated It On Purpose) . . .

16. Why even make such silly subdivisions? 'FIOP' is MIHOP.
Hell, 'LIHOP' is ultimately 'MIHOP' for that matter.

19. not quite the same, but I get your point . . . and don't disagree . . .
LIHOP, FIOP, MIHOP . . . at one level, it doesn't matter which is actually the case, since they ALL constitute treason . . .

17. I had wondered if they'd use her leaving as an excuse to renege
on the new camp offer. Got them all packed up. Best opportunity to try and evict.

Cindy is going to be safe. In a hospital, she will be given support. She's a celeb at the moment. The media may follow her like papparazzi if they don't decide to ignore her completely.

18. You can't kill an idea...
This whole movement is bigger, much bigger, than just Cindy, and they (BFEE) can't control it as it is, so I can't believe they would want harm to come to her and experience the blowback like they've never seen before. Now, those white-wing-wackos are another story. They are the ones I fear because they, collectively, are becoming unglued.
