I imagine there are some reich wing 'toons out there, but I don't see them and don't want to. There's not much out there for them to draw about it would seem.

6. I've occasionally pondered doing "Darth TOONS" editions from time to time

...but I keep coming back to "Why? We don't get enough spitefull caricatures of us and our views? We have to go and seek out more?"

I check a large number of toons when I'm compiling these (as if you couldn't tell), and I'll use a RW toon if it's on a topic where the "right/left" divide isn't as clear as it is in other areas, or even if it's genuinely funny, but if it's just some idiocy that will set me boiling, my blood pressure has the veto.

are the kids stopping at the recruiters office for the free tank of gas and the one with the boiling oil being poured on the American car owners.

They are all great though which is unusual.

30. Political Cartoons

Recently, i checked out a book of political cartoons that cover most of United States history. I find that the old cartoonists were much tougher on politicians than their modern counterparts. This must be because they were freer than we are now. My favorite here is "This Modern World," by Tom Tomorrow.
