4. don't miss KRUGMAN today............
<snip>
Meanwhile, several companies with close personal ties to top administration officials have begun brazenly offering their services as facilitators for companies seeking Iraqi business. The former law firm of Douglas Feith, the Pentagon under secretary who oversees Iraq reconstruction, has hung out its shingle. So has another company headed by Joe Allbaugh, who ran the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2000 and ran FEMA until a few months ago. And a third entrant is run by Ahmad Chalabi's nephew.

10. These arrogant bastards MUST be banking on DIEbold!!!
And hence they've abandoned all pretense about this being anything other than a raping and pillaging of a conquered nation!! They were being honest when they said this wasn't just a matter of blood for oil!! Oil - and a lot more!!

12. And their friend Chalabi is in power to make sure this continues
IMO, Chalabi and his thugs are behind much of the chaos and assassinations going on in Iraq.

BushCo (through Powell) is making it look like they're REALLY trying to come up with some UN resolution, but the reality is

EXECUTIVE ORDERS 13303 and 13315 which basically state that all Iraqi assets (including oil) are under the control of the US Treasury and that any US entity doing business there will be granted immunity from prosecution for any criminal activity.

13. What do you think "diplomat" Bremmer did before he went to Iraq?
Just after 9/11 he began consulting (mostly security firms) clients on how to make the most money off of that horrible day. He replaced Garner to make sure the ni-bid contractors could aqueeze every penny out of the situation as is possible.

16. Kick
Evenb if otehr threads cover this, this is a good roadmap.

It conforms EVERYTHING about what the hell we're really doing in Iraq. Trying to make it into a Corporate Colony shaped by Bush policies.

21. Dean/Clark - all the Dems should be jumping all over this!!
So the head of FEMA (who happened to be on the World Trade disaster scene on Sept. 10th) - the same FEMA in charge of all those neat little prison camps ChimpCo has ready for us dissenters...er, terrorists - Chimpy's campaign manager - starts this company in MAY - with the "mission accomplished" barely "accomplished" - thereby allowing both Cheney and Bush to both personally profit from this illegal, completely unjustified war they started!! :puke:

History will not be kind to these incredibly monstrous murderers!!!
