Guess who the RW is pinning the US vessel attack on?

http://www.theconservativevoice.com/articles/article.html?id=7599

Al Qaeda Organization Takes Credit for Attack, but was it acting Alone?

In the American Army had a soldier shot a rocket at something as big as a docked ship, and missed, that soldier wouldn't be patted on the back and praised.

However, al Qaeda's motto apparently is, "t's the thought that counts", and the more ridiculously stupid and backwards that thought, the better. Today, the Abdullah al-Azzam Brigades, part of the al Qaeda network of organizations, took credit for missing not one but two docked American ships in Jordon's port of Aqaba, where they employed three Katyisha Rockets.

Abdullah al-Azzam Brigades, is an organization that traditionally preys on unarmed tourists, they do this because they are cowards. This group had previously claimed credit for the July 23, 2005 murderous attack on the Ghazala Gardens Hotel in Egypt, where scores of tourists were bombed and killed. This group describes itself as holy warriors, and they claim their doing Gods bidding. Well either their hearing the wrong voice and are looking up when they should be looking down, or their God is a degenerate who takes delight in murdering women and children.

What interests me about today's attack is the weapons system this group of losers used. The Katyusha Rocket "Multiple Rocket Launcher" BM-21 is the weapon of choice of Hizbullah, a radical Islamic organization based in Lebanon. Hizbullah has close ties with Iran and is armed by Syria, the country which provides it, its Katyusha Rockets . Both Iran and Syria have been linked to attacks against American soldiers in Iraq, and now we see an attack against the United States outside of Iraq, which could have been aided directly or indirectly by Iran and Syria. If American ships are being attacked by Agents of foreign nations, how should the United States respond to the countries responsible?

29. But Why is he on Vacation?
Shooting missiles at US warships is an "act of war".

Don't you think he could drag his lazy as back to DC for that?

Could you imagine the outcry if this were Clinton, and he decided to get in some fishing while people are slinging missiles at our ships??

The contrast between a man who took his job seriously, and one who seems to be using the US Military to play "cops and robbers" is just simply stunning. I miss the BIG DOG

10. A couple of syntax errors too
using their for they're. I know its a small thing, but it points out the level of attention to detail the right doesn't have.

16. That's a sign of an uneducated person.
I don't think it's a small thing using "their" for "they're."

That person needs remedial English.

22. I think it's one thing, if you are posting something on a political forum
I admit my grammar isn't top notch. However, if you are going to post an article on a political site, some proof reading and syntax checking would seem obvious?

That's a good point. It shows who wrote it and how trustworthy they can be. If it was really written by an intelligence person they would've known better about that. It's an easy thing.

11. Well, at least they didn't blame it on Clinton.
Yet. They may get there, of course. Obviously, the "facts have to be fixed" to justify invading Iran and eventually Syria, it would seem. So guess this is a good a place to carry out Bushie's agenda as any. After all, the attack "could have been aided directly or indirectly by Iran and Syria." And thus they become the "countries responsible."

17. You mean it wasn't Bill Clinton's fault?
However, if Bush can take over Syria and Iran, the US/UK would have control of land from the Mediterranean to India, and control of one side of the Persian Gulf. I just wonder our military is up for that type of occupation.

Have you ever felt like the Bush administration is playing Risk with real soldiers?

18. Not surprising that they are blaming
Edited on Fri Aug-19-05 12:09 PM by nadinbrzezinski
either Iran or Syria

that said, a Katyusha is remarkably inaccurate, so hitting even something as large as a navy ship would be surprising. They are considered AREA EFFECT weapons, far better for terrorizing civilian populations

Oh and for the record I sincerely doubt that they were looking at events here at home. Or for that matter can be traced (in the real world) to either Syria or Iran... they are fairly easy to produce..

27. Who the hell fires three BM-21 rockets?
The BM-21 (I refuse to call it Katyusha--that was the BM-13. The Soviets called the BM-21 Grad, which means "hail" as in the weather type.) is designed to take out an area 300 x 200 meters in one volley.

If you're trying to kill something with a BM-21, you fire a whole rack of rockets--40 in all. If all you're trying to do is piss someone off, three might work.

'Course, there is always the strange notion that Incurious George could only get three BM-21 rockets to use in his fake attack.

I'd say this is a big clue as to the quality of this analysis.

Also has difficulty distinguishing "they're" from "their."

All in all, just another stupid hateful moran.
